Send Messages That Actually Matter
In one year, Smartphone users around the globe will send 8.3 trillion text messages - nearly 23 billion messages per day - almost 16 million messages per minute. But out of all those messages, how many contain words that hold any meaning for the recipient? How many are messages that let someone know they matter?
What if there was an easier way for people to use their mobile devices to actually send meaningful messages to their contact list? Would more people say the things that they typically think but don’t verbalize?
This is the idea behind an app Werkbot created for Doria Hickman, an Erie woman who launched a successful Kickstarter campaign to help generate support and interest in the app. Hickman reached out to Werkbot, and Werkbot helped her bring her idea to life.
You Matter App is a messaging app that lets users send pre-populated phrases to their contacts, making it simple to share a meaningful message in a matter of seconds. It’s an easy, effective way to let someone know you care about them and boost their self-worth.
Hickman’s goal with You Matter App is to get people to start exchanging more words that matter. Words that hold weight and bring change. Android and Apple users alike are trying it out; the app has nearly 500 downloads between the two stores and is getting some rave reviews.
